Welcome to the BCTA
The BCTA is a non-profit association dedicated to the education and civic engagement of Bastrop County taxpayers. We serve the communities of Bastrop County as a clearinghouse of information about the people, issues, and events that drive tax policy in Bastrop County.
Please join us in working together to help ensure that Bastrop gives priority to prudent spending of tax dollars, the lowest possible tax rates to sustain a high-quality community, and accepting responsibility for our choices without placing a burden on future generations.
Invest an hour or two in your future - BCTA has tremendous opportunity to make a positive impact on affordability and quality of life issues for residents of Bastrop County. To do this, we need to employ our best assets - our people! Ask any BCTA member about serving on a committee or task force and let's get something done.
